too soon?

I have been sick for the past week or 2 and I am just now starting to feel a bit better. After I finished my english paper today I decided I'd try to go to the gym. MISTAKE! I now feel like utter poo and my head is pounding. It is definitely nap time!

life sucks

I am so ready for school to be over with. I am WAY too stressed out. Being sick on top of this doesn't help either. Unfortunately my summer is not looking great for me... I have to take summer classes and work, but there's a problem: I can't find a job. It's so aggrevating and annoying that there are not many job opportunities out there and I refuse to work a lowly high school teenagers job. I am done with those b.s. jobs. so yeah.. my summer is gonna pretty much be no thing but depressing... life sucks. I heard something tonight I liked .. hah
"If college is the best years of our lives.. then I must have a shitty life ahead of me"
hah! so true.. so true.. anyways.. i guess it's time for bed..

society is a shame

so tonight I drove down to the coast to go to the crawfish festival. they had a local band play and they were really good, stereohype. i am really starting to get into the whole band scene, its fantabulous! However, at this festival there are always drunk idiots and so they kind of ruined the evening.. but screw them! This 'dad' was drunk off his ass with his little boy who couldn't have been older than 2 right? well they threw things into the audience *frisbees* and one of them landed on the chair in front of me and my friend so he grabbed it. Well then the drunk 'dad' leaned over and start cursing and was like "that's really f#$*&^% great of you dude, take it from my son you little *insert your choice of profanity here*" So he was like look i'm sorry and gave the little kid the frisbee I mean COME ON! its like $2.00 at the store is it really that big of a deal? and if he really wanted to be a good father he would but the effin' beer down and spend quality time with his little boy.. I mean..what a jerk! I think I officially hate rednecks and the south .. I mean It's so unfair of me to say that based on one person but it wasn't just him the whole place was filled with these types of people! what a shame!

Stewart, Carrisse. Hancock Bank. Personal Interview. 19 April 2007.
Summary: I conducted a phone interview with Carrisse Stewart who works in the human resources department of Hancock Bank in Gulfport, Mississippi. The questions pertained to online college degrees and how they may affect the hiring and job processes.
Importance: This is important because it gives me a view on what companies in real life are looking for (or not looking for) in employees. This is also a different view on online education. All sources about online education and jobs are pretty much opinions, so I have first hand, the opinion of an actual employer.
Connections: This is strictly opinions of a credible individual. In class we have talked briefly about it, but not as in depth as my interview covered.
Supporting Source: Her opinions may help my paper argue against or for online education. And may also help me decide what stand point I want to take on the situation.
Argumentative Source: I can not critique her opinion, therefore this does not apply to my source.

Summary: This website is the official website of the online Phoenix University. It has information about admissions, credibility, courses available, cost etc. There is not just one specific section of this website I can use, rather every aspect mentioned on this web page.
Importance: this is an important site for my paper because it gives me information on the criteria I am basing my paper on.
Connections: We talked about the University of Phoenix online in class briefly, but there is more details to the way it is operated and managed than we discussed.
Supporting Source: this source can be used to either disprove or verify my criteria for choosing a good college.
Argumentative Source: This is an official website of a university, therefore I can not critique it because I do not know enough information on the subject. The only thing I could suggest was having more clearly stated information and easier navigation.

Lucky #10!

So I went to the freshman finale tonight. I had pizza and a snowcone. I also watched people run around like little kids again. Im listening to techno and writing poetry. Is that an odd combination? Oh well if it is, it's working for me!! I can't wait to go home this weekend. My mom and I are redoing my room, that will be lots of fun. so anyways, back to writing I go!! interesting

so I just got back from the internation food festival. I got there kind of late so most of the food was gone. it was very sad. I ate food from many countries and drank coffe from Saudi Arabia. It was very cultural. I got my culture for the week. haha. I may go work out today at the gym, I am getting so lazy! hmm.. I'm bored. I am going to take a nap. peace up!

Okay, so I have to have 10 blog posts by midnight to night and this only makes 8.. hm.. I think I shall be an update whore today then! I forget to update in this.. I mean, I could copy and paste some of my blogs from myspace and whatnot.. my life is always interesting to read about. but for now i'm going to the international food festival at the BSU and I FINNNALLY finished my spanish homework. anyways, chao!!

My research is going pretty well. I am done with it actually. I ended up having 6 sources and I may use another. I had issues at first finding sources that didn't have the same information, but I eventually got it.

Spring Break

so spring break was really fun! I know i'm a little late to update about this but i'm procrastinating right now lol. I went to Florida with my friend and we stayed with my father. We went to Universal Studios , the beaches, and the most amazing concert I have ever been to. It was the Taste of Chaos Tour. It had a lot of bands :: The used, 30 seconds to mars, senses fail, saosin, chiodos, aiden and I can't remember the other ones. I had a brush with fame. I was like face to face with jared leto.. yes i was star struck!! He climbed up into the stands and he was right there in front of me. It was just absolutely amazing LOL. and then I got his autograph later on and it was fabulous. But all in all it was a GREAT concert. Hopefully next year I'll get to go too. so now here I am back at school.. but there's not much left to this year! Can't believe my freshman year is almost over. But anyways I have to work on paper now i suppose! Chao

Summary: This website talks about what identity theft is and what it is on the internet. It explains the methods of internet identity theft such as Trojan horses and e-mail phising, which both put key loggers on your computer and track everything you type. This will give the thief all of your personal information and they will be able to steal identities. It also mentions that internet fraud is only a small portion of overall identity theft and the numbers seem to be decreases over the past few years. The website gives tips for protecting yourself against internet identity theft and what to do if it happens to you.
Importance: This is important because it gives some background information on primary identity theft and then what internet identity theft is.
Connections: I knew what identity theft was but I didn’t know exactly how identity theft worked on the internet.
Supporting source: I can use this article for basic information and it also gave some statistics that I can use as well.
Argumentative Source: I think there should have been more information on exactly how identity theft works so the reader would be a bit more informed and knowledgeable.

Summary: This article talks about internet phishing. Phishing is a way for people to steal identification. Thieves will send out fake e-mails and try to pass them off as an email from a legitimate source such as eBay , Citibank, etc. It also gave examples of internet phishing that has been reported in the past from well known websites. It gave tips to know if the e-mails are legit or not.
Importance: This is a major scheme used by internet thieves and is important to understand how and what it is.
Connections: I had no idea what phishing was until I looked into internet identity fraud.
Supporting Source: This could be used as an example in my paper. I can use it to show ways a hacker may try to access personal information.
Argumentative Source: There should be more information in the article. It does provide facts but doesn’t go too far in depth.

Welcome to hell?

This past week has been one of the hardest times I think I have gone through in a very long time. A lot of things have happened and a lot needs to be fixed. I can get through it though I am strong. On a ligher note though I got a new cellphone! it's really pimp I can listen to the radio on it. very cool ^_^ *thumbs up* I made a red velvet cake over mardi gras break and i brought it with me.. not too shabby, it's pretty good. My mardi gras break though was not that great. As mentioned before it was basically hell. I am going to go play raquet ball today! that excites me, even though i suck really bad. it's okay! it's all about having fun. Life is short. Live laugh and love right? right..

Busy Me!

Wow I had a pretty busy day today. After english class today Frank and I drove down the coast because my mom just bought me a new laptop so I had to go get it. Oh yeah, and I have a cold so the entire way home I was sneezing and blowing my nose. Needless to say there were lots of snot rags in the car. Poor Frank, if he doesn't get sick i'll be amazed. But anyways I came back up to school and went straight to homework, Oh goody! yeah.. not really. But in the process of doing my 'homework' I have been listening to random songs and I ran across a techno song and it's pretty good. It's weird but techno music really does put you in some type of trance or mindset, no i'm not on nor do I do drugs. Its just music you can listen to and it puts you into your own little world. It's pretty cool actually, but I still haven't gotten much accomplished so I guess it doesn't work that well. haha! I just got an urge to go play pool.. Okay it's official I am the worst procrastinator ever!!

Paper complications

I have been working on my paper and I am almost finished with it. I am having some problems with my concluding paragraph. My paper is about the stories "Samuel" and "Cathedral" and how emotions affect human interactions. I don't know how to end it without being repetitious or having an off topic ending. Any Suggestions??
